Air Max Day 2023 is fast approaching, and PK shoes now has official images of the upcoming Air Max 1 "Design By Japan," a colorway inspired by a running sneaker from the late 1970s.
In a throwback aesthetic, the PK kicks feature white mesh, tumbled green leather overlays, and a burnt orange heel. An exposed foam tongue emphasizes its throwback credentials, while a tinted midsole furthers the retro aesthetic. The PK Sneakers gum rubber outsole is the killer feature, while special gold metal hang tags provide some extra boldness. Finally, retro tongue branding completes the nostalgic rendition.
